Modular or stick

There are many issues that need to be considered when weighing modular homes against stick built homes. Each category of homes have their own pros and cons.

There is a misconception that certain aspects are true of all stick built houses, and the same applies to modulars. One of the greatest concerns of homebuyers is the quality of the construction of their home. Having been in the construction business for over thirty years I have seen the best and worst of construction jobs, and at times have had the job of rebuilding botched jobs. My business partner is contracted to a large manufactured housing company and we have seen the best and worst of botched modulars through that work as well.

I want to start the comparison in the delivery time involved with each type of housing, and move on to other issues such as amenities that may be available as custom work or special order.
